RESTRICTIONS IN WALES BEING EASED FROM 7TH AUGUST 2021

Fresh paint and luxury bedding, new carpeting and some stunning new bathrooms await your return and we are now open with all the required safeguards. To contact us please still use e-mail whenever possible and we will aim to respond within a day. Confirmations of bookings are being dispatched systematically now we are “up and running” again – please allow us plenty of time to catch up.

CONFIRMATION E-MAILS ARE NOW BEING SENT TO ALL RESERVATIONS; please advise us if you haven’t received yours – remembering sometimes they can be in your “Spam” file so look there first if possible please.

UPCOMING ROOM RESERVATIONS:

• We have commenced systematically sending out e-mail booking confirmations in “arrival date order”; we strongly suggest these are carefully checked for accuracy as of course many reservations have been amended more than once or twice – sometimes manually and sometimes using computer “wizardry” – do check all details please.
• Deposits for reservations are finally due no later than 8 days before arrival when, with all due respect, they then become non-refundable in all circumstances – we will e-mail you a reminder wherever possible; it’s £50 for a cosy or king room, £75 for a superior room and £100 for a deluxe room.
• We will continue to contact all guests in advance to check they consider themselves and companions fit to travel; it goes without saying that if you are unwell you must not check in please.
• As you might imagine the hotel is well organised with Sanitiser stations, one-way systems, social distancing and strict table service – ie: no standing at the bar; masks should be worn when moving around the public areas; in the dining room we have to use sachets and portions for some items and the buffets are served to you by our staff. AFTER 7TH AUGUST SOME OF THIS WILL BE EASED but face-coverings will a matter of personal choice.
• If you wish to cancel that’s understandable, we will hopefully see you another time soon; If you’ve an upcoming booking made through a travel agent such as Booking.com or Secret Escapes you must cancel or amend your booking through them.
• Over the weeks ahead we still have much to accomplish in a short space of time and will do our level best to keep everyone happy but your patience, support and co-operation will always be appreciated.
• We are now taking many 2022 room reservations and hope to adopt the policy of no deposit due until 15 days before arrival as soon as we can.
