All our guestrooms are dog friendly. We understand that dogs are part of the family and many owners like to take their dog with them on holiday – obviously we ask you keep him/her off the furniture and always on a lead when in other parts of the hotel. Rest assured that our bedrooms are cleaned to a very high standard so if you’re not a dog person you won’t even know there’s been one in the room! There is a charge of £8 per dog per day with occasional promotions when your dog can go free – ask Reception when booking. Whether you book direct or using the internet always please tell us you are bringing your pet.

By way of experiment we are also relaxing the rule a little regarding the lounge – in the mornings and afternoons when the bar is closed you may take your dog in the lounge which can revert to a dog-free zone when the bar is open later.

In the evenings you can eat in the bar with your dog taking the same menu as we serve in the main dining room. At breakfast-time we can sometimes provide a table in a separate dining room for guests with dogs – please check with Reception the night before or even when booking.  Please remember we promise all guests in the hotel that dogs staying with us will always be on a secured lead in the public areas.

HOLIDAY MAKERS WITH DOGS SELF-CATERING IN THE VILLAGE – please be reassured you are very welcome to come and drink in the bar in the evening accompanied with your dog(s); if you are planning on dining please DO telephone first simply because often space in the bar is limited and especially if you are 6 or more people and it helps us to know in advance; with notice we can sometimes arrange for a private dining area where your dog(s) can join you.
