A wedding breakfast in the light and airy Berwyn Room with views of the gardens and the natural beauty of the Ceiriog Valley offers a luxurious and elegant feel to your day and is ideal for up to 24 guests. You and your guests can also relax in the comfort of the traditional bar, in the comfy and attractive lounge or outside on the paved terrace. During the winter months it may be cold outside, but inside The Mulberry Inn the fire is lit and a warm welcome is awaiting you and your guests for that never to be forgotten day!

Does the thought of standing in front of a large crowd make you break out in a nervous sweat? Then keep your nerves at bay by making your actual wedding meal a family and close-friends only event. Not all venues excel in this specialist area but rest assured The Mulberry Inn does it all very nicely.

Our “Berwyn Room”is perfect for as many as 24 guests; attractive decor, picture windows, decking outside the door and beautiful views of the Ceiriog Valley. We will set it up for your celebration meal with one large table, crisp white linen, chair covers with bows, beautiful “Martini” glass flowers and romantic candles – all ready for a relaxed meal in convivial comfort.

Our special “packages” apply and a wedding for 20 with room hire, flowers, food and drinks will cost just £900 which may also be a nice thought too? A handful of dates are still available for 2019 – feel free to get in touch.

tripadvisorWe held our wedding at the Mulberry Inn on 1 July and it was absolutely perfect! Every little detail I had thought of, and plenty I hadn’t were all taken care of by the wonderful team at the Inn and they hosted 30 people, at a great price for the best day of our lives!

From the minute we first visited the Mulberry Inn, we were made to feel welcome and no question or query was too much trouble when we were initially looking to book for the wedding. Allan and John took the time to show us not just the main rooms for the ceremony and reception but also the hotel rooms. The Inn itself is beautifully presented with modern décor. The rooms are amazing and very well equipped and some family members even brought their dog to stay. The dog was not left out with water and free dentisticks in the room – what a lovely touch!

In the lead up to the wedding, Again Allan and John were awesome and were always on hand to answer questions and they are very experienced and prompted us to think about aspects of the wedding we had not even considered. Their help in the build up to the big day was invaluable. It was lovely that they offered support and guidance without ‘interfering’ or trying to change the ideas we had for our rather unconventional wedding.

The day before they even offered a full three course meal for the family staying the night before which coincided with my dad’s birthday. This was a really nice way to spend our wedding ‘eve’, followed by drinks in the cosy bar. We were given some great savings on room bookings which most people were able to take advantage of.

The wedding day itself was handled perfectly. The attention to detail from Allan and the team was fantastic, down to the staff having ties that matched our colour scheme! Every little aspect was taken care of and I didn’t need to worry about a thing on the day as they took the time to explain everything in advance. The ceremony room looked beautiful and again, the extra touches put in by the team really made the day.

After the ceremony, we went to the pretty garden and had cocktails and beers for the guests. They were lovely and really complemented the relaxed tone of the wedding. Our photographs in the garden turned out beautifully and the time between our ceremony and our meal really flew by.

We needed to cater for meat eaters, veggies and vegans and even this was not a problem for the staff. We opted for the buffet and it was AMAZING! everyone commented on how good the food was and the veggies/vegans had their own table full of tasty options which thoroughly impressed. Dessert – what can I say, was absolutely stunning. Individual portions of all manner of puds such as cheesecake, eton mess, brownies and lemon tart all delivered to the table. The only downside was feeling too full to manage more than a couple!

The chef and the kitchen team excelled themselves with the food and the waiting on staff also did a fantastic job – attentive and polite without being intrusive, making sure glasses never went empty. I cannot fault the team in any way.

We didn’t have an evening reception as such but I have no doubt that anyone booking one would experience the same excellent service.

The rooms at the Mulberry Inn are amazing, the bathroom was lovely and they were spotlessly clean. Again the same attention to detail is present down to the binoculars and the free goodies in the room. The minibar is very reasonable and the views are stunning. Breakfast is generous and again the food is tasty with nothing being too much trouble.

In summary, if you are thinking of booking a visit or event at the Mulberry Inn, I wholeheartedly recommend it and you will not regret it. It is a real gem of a place and I cannot wait to return for many a meal or celebration in future.

Wedding Booking Terms And Conditions

We ask for a non-returnable £250 deposit at the time of booking. We will agree the “package” and timings with you no less than 8 weeks before the event when a further £500 payment is due and we ask you to sign a small contract. If hotel rooms are booked at the same time then a deposit is due for these too. For the event only wines and drinks bought on the premises my be consumed. Cancellation policy: Up to 28 days before the event – loss of deposits paid; cancellation 27 days or less before the event will incur a charge based on two-thirds of the estimated total charge. Final numbers (which will be set up for, catered for and charged for) 7 days before the event please; final balance payable on presentation.
